I LOVE this board you guys are great! We are driving to WDW this Dec and wondered if it would be easier/quicker to driver to/from parks or use disney transportation. staying at ASM. Thanks!!!

    Celeste,

It is almost always faster to drive your own car.  The one exception to that rule is when visiting the Magic Kingdom.  The park is set up differently there, so you'd have to park your car, take a tram to the monorail, then take the monorail to the park.  This is one place where the bus might be faster.

It really comes down to personal preference.  I much prefer to have a car at my disposal.  Our kids are young (1, 3, 5) and a car is much easier.  On the Disney buses our strollers have to be folded so the kiddos are displaced from their seats.  They often fall aleep, and trying to carry 3 kids, 2 strollers, and multiple bags of swag after a long day in the parks is not fun!

However, I know many people who drive to Disney and leave their car parked because they rely solely on Disney transportation.  Many people to find it easier and more convenient to leave the driving to someone else.

There really isn't any one 'right' answer.  Even amongst the Moms Panelists, we're pretty evenly split on the question of whether a car or Disney bus system is better.

    Good luck!
