Hi Salma,
Glad we can be of assistance. How exciting to be planning a Disney World trip for your little princess. Now I may be biased, but I think you are never to young or to old to enjoy the magic and fun of a Disney World vacation. My three boys have been going since they were infants and it has been such a joy to experience Disney through their eyes as they grew from trip to trip. We have never visited with the feeling that they missed out on a good time due to their age.
Disney World is exactly the place to take your 17 month old daughter, as the parks and resorts are designed to operate around guests of all ages. You will love how easy it is to move around the property and enjoy the shows, attractions and restaurants without feeling out of place with your daughter. Many of the park attractions are slow moving experiences that can be enjoyed without any age or height restrictions. Fantasyland and Mickey's Toontown at Magic Kingdom are great places to start. Hollywood Studios features the Playhouse Disney show as well as Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast stage show, which are full of music and lights and very fun family experiences. A great place to check for information on the attractions that do have height restrictions is
www.allears.net under Theme Parks and Ride Restrictions.
Besides the numerous attractions and stage shows, there are great opportunities for your daughter to enjoy the parade, meet her favorite character, run through a fountain, enjoy an ice cream bar, and so much more. The fantastic thing about her age is everything is so eye-opening and magical to her so be sure to enjoy it.
