    We love AKL & booked our next trip @ new Kidani Villas! My delima--I'm worried that new villas will be 2 far from lodge stuff--like dining, swimming, etc. (have a 2 and 4 yr old) Called AKL--CM didn't know much. Can I get a map of new layout b4 our tri

    The only decent-ish online map I could find for you is at www.mouseowners.com/images/AKVtentative.jpg. This map was put out some time ago as a tentative plan for new Disney Vacation Club building. It is mostly useful for you to get a general overview of the space covered. I think Disney has taken care of much of your concerns by building a large pool and some restaurants at the Kidani Village site. You will be welcome to enjoy the restaurants and amenities at the main Lodge, but if you're looking to save time, this likely wouldn't be necessary. I would also venture a guess that Kidani Village will have its own bus transportation to the theme parks so that you wouldn't need to go over to the Main Lodge for that either. If you have more specific questions, the Disney Vacation Club office may be better informed than the Animal Kingdom Lodge itself. Information about how to contact them can be found HERE.
