    Julie,

    Good schedule! To your specific questions;

    For lunch in the Animal Kingdom I would go with the picnic over the Rainforest Cafe. Actually, I would pick the Flame Tree BBQ over both, but that is a personal preference.

    Not sure what to recommend for your husband. Truth is that even the gruffest of Dads have been known to enter the parks with a shrug of their shoulders and leave with Mickey Ears on their head, a DoleWhip in their hand, and whistling "it's a small world!". But if you want some suggestions for Dad, just write me back with a list of his likes/interest, and I will send you some!

    That having been said, make sure you and your husband go on some of those thrill rides that the kids are still to your for. All you have to do is the Rider Switch, where one parent goes on a ride while the other waits outside with the kids. Then the second parent gets to go through the express line to the attraction, while the kids stay with the first. Watch Michelle's video on this to see what a great (and free) program it is!

    Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Doug, Indiana

I am one of the Dads on the planDisney Panel, and I love to help parents plan their vacation, with a focus on showing them how it can be fun for them too. I am also here to help Dads plan some nice surprises for the Moms in their life (they deserve it!). Learn More About Doug
