Hiya Tricia! Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
One of my favorite activities at the World is to EAT! There are so many delicious food options, and having the
Disney Dining Plan makes it super easy to indulge in them. I love that you can leave all your [money] worries behind and eat up to your heart's content.
When you arrive at your sit-down or Quick-Service restaurant, communicate with your server about your daughter's plant-based needs. The servers will work with you and your girl to pick menu options that are both vegetarian and fit within the dining plan guidelines. There should be options on the menu, but often the Cast Member will have options that are not listed. The great thing is that Disney is committed to making ALL guests' experience magical, so they will work with you and your daughter to ensure that her preferences are met and work with the Dining Plan.
Tricia, right now is a great time to be
plant-based at Disney World! The theme parks and resorts have many delicious options (hundreds!). The easiest way to identify the meals is by looking for a green leaf next to the menu choice.
I highly recommend you try the Curried Vegetable Stew at
Skipper Canteen, one of my favorite meals in Magic Kingdom.
Docking Bay 7 in Hollywood Studios has a delicious falafel meal, and Ronto Roaster's Triple Suns Wrap is a tasty breakfast option. Moving on to Toy Story Land, Roundup Rodeo BBQ serves family-style and has plant-based ribs! Also, their
cheddar biscuits, corn, and Mac n cheese are excellent. Finally, the restaurant we eat at every time we visit is
Satu'li Canteen! Their Fried Tofu Bowl is fantastic, and combined with lots of seating and being in Pandora, you have a winning combination every time. Oh, and most importantly, don't forget!
Dole Whip is vegan!
I wish you a magical vacation. Feel free to bounce back to us with any other questions.
