There are a lot of restaurants that I just want to get a dessert and go. Is it possible to just get a dessert and not have to hassle with reservations? I just want a piece of Mango pie from Yak and Yeti and a piece of grapefruit cake from the Derby.

    Hello Jennifer,

Walt Disney World plays host to some delicious decadent desserts. From the cornucopia of flavored cupcakes, to the many frozen treats, and scrumptious pies and baked goods, Guests are sure to find a favorite sweet tooth indulgent they must have.

Typically, table service restaurants do not provide To-Go food options for Guests but I suppose it can not hurt to ask. While I am sure it is more likely for them to accommodate a Guest ordering a dessert over an entire meal, maybe with a little bit of Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust your must have treat can happen. Disney Mom Panelist Brandy even suggests heading next door, to the Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafes, to see if Yak & Yeti Restaurant's, Mango Pie, has found its way on their menu.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments and your Mango Pie.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
