I see a lot of people tend to make dinner/lunch reservs. for their entire stay. I only made 1 lunch reserv. (character) & then just plan on eating at quick stops or something in our hotel with our Deluxe Dinner Plan. Do you recommend otherwise?

    Jodi,

I definitely recommend you do something different.  With the deluxe Dining Plan you will be losing a LOT of money if you eat at quick service venues.  You'd come out far far ahead by canceling the Deluxe Dining and just paying out of pocket for your meals.

To help you do the math, visit www.allearsnet.com and look at some menus.  If you have an idea of where you might eat and what you might order, you can see roughly what it would cost you.  For example, I just priced 3 counter service meals for myself for one day and my out-of-pocket cost would be around $35 (Including drinks/dessert).  The Deluxe Dining Plan is costing you $69.99 for that same day.  Literally double the actual cost - ouch!

The Deluxe Dining is fantastic and can be a great value, but only if you use it for table-service meals.  If you want to eat quick service you would be better off financially to either pay as you go, or to step down to the Basic Dining Plan.  Alternatively, if you want to keep your Deluxe plan you should definitely make more meal reservations;both to ensure you can find a restaurant with availability and to get the most bank for your buck.

I hope this helps you plan!
