Vacation Points to unlock a whole new world of adventure with
Disney Cruise Line. Let's set sail!
Without a doubt, one of the best benefits of DVC Membership is being able to use your points in many different ways. Beyond the Disney Vacation Club resorts, Members can exchange their points for stays at
Disney Collection hotels,
Adventures by Disney,
National Geographic Expeditions, travel with
Interval International....and magical sailings with Disney Cruise Line! We've enjoyed lots of different vacations over the years and I feel like we still haven't scratched the surface of everything that's available!
Cortney, to use Vacation Points for a cruise, you will exchange the points for Reservation Points (this is a 1:1 conversion), and then use the Reservation Points to book your sailing. You should start by taking a look at the
Points Charts, which will show you how many points are required for specific sailings, seasons, and accommodation types. It's important to know that at least one Guest in your stateroom must be booked
completely with points - others in the travel party can be booked with cash or points. That one points-only Guest may be an infant or child, who will use less points than an adult for their reservation.
Once you're ready to book your cruise, contact
Member Services for an assist. They will handle the transaction to convert your points, and make your cruise reservations. Keep in mind that any points exchange carries a one-time, non-refundable fee (currently $95, subject to change). Then you can turn your attention to planning port excursions and deciding how to decorate your stateroom door!
