Welcome aboard, Almudena! It is so exciting to vacation with Disney, but a land and sea trip with Disney is the best vacation of all!
The easiest way to enjoy both a
Disney cruise and a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is to book them both as a
Land and Sea package with Disney Cruise Line. My family and I try to add a parks visit to our cruise trip every time that we sail out of Port Canaveral, as it really adds so much more magic to our vacation!
The best way to start planning is to choose what month you'd like to sail and then begin browsing the
different itineraries that leave from Port Canaveral that month. The Dream sails three and four night cruises, and the Fantasy sails seven night cruises. Sometimes the Magic or the Wonder may sail out of Port Canaveral too, but you'll always find the Dream and Fantasy at this, their home port. Choose the ship and length of sailing and then you can decide to add a visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort either before or after your trip.
My family and I enjoy having fun in the parks before we sail, because we get worn out with being on our feet for days at the parks and look forward to relaxing at sea afterwards. But, we have had lots of fun visiting the parks after our cruise when most others are heading home, we have more magic to look forward to!
Give the agents at Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532, and they can walk you through any other options, as well as set up Disney Cruise Line ground transfers for your family between your Walt Disney World Resort hotel and Port Canaveral and the airport. Have fun as you begin planning your exciting trip, Almudena!
