Welcome to planDisney, Lindsey!
The fun never ends at The Most Magical Place on Earth, so you’ll always have something adventurous, joyful, wild, or out-of-this-world to get into. Let’s talk about just a spoonful of the activities that await you.
You’ll be happy to hear that fireworks displays at Walt Disney World Resort are all year long, so perhaps the September 21, 2024 cut-off that you saw was because the showtimes calendar wasn’t updated past that date. If a nighttime spectacular is canceled or delayed while you’re on vacation, it will be posted in the
My Disney Experience App. Also, keep in mind that on select nights in September at Magic Kingdom Park, there will be the separately ticketed
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. On those nights, if you don’t have a ticket,
Happily Ever After fireworks do not run.
Because the weather in Florida is, for the most part, very favorable, the attractions here are open year round. If a ride is closed for refurbishment, like EPCOT’s Test Track, it will be listed as such on the
Hours & Events Calendar. Of course, due to weather or a technical issue, rides can go down at any point. By the way, new attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure don’t have an end date in sight. Nothing but blue skies and sunshine, so enjoy yourself!
When you’re in this neck of the woods in September, the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will be going on as well. This is hands down one of my favorite events of the year. You’ll want to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for when the Foodie Guide comes out for this year’s festival.
Lindsey, please
give us a holler here at planDisney if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation. See you real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
