We are looking to come to Disney with our three girls aged 7.5 and 5.5. We can only come for one Night and two days. What would be our best options in terms of where to stay and get the max out of what they would enjoy? Thanks!

    Hello there, Danielle!

Thanks so much for visiting us here at planDisney. It would be my pleasure to help you with your upcoming magical vacation.

There are so many lodging options available at Walt Disney World Resort, but based on the ages of your girls I'd have to recommend Disney's Art of Animation Resort as my top choice. I stayed there for the second time last year with my own daughter and we had the most fun exploring the resort grounds together. This resort features beautifully themed rooms and larger-than-life decor sure to impress any Disney movie fan. We've stayed in the Little Mermaid rooms, and most recently in a Cars Family Suite, and have loved the entire experience down to the tiniest dinglehopper detail. Based on your party size, a Family Suite would be a comfortable option as they each feature a Queen bedroom, a double sleeper sofa, and a convertible Murphy bed/table. These suites also come equipped with two bathrooms and a small kitchenette. You'll find suites with Finding Nemo, Cars, and Lion King theming.

Art of Animation also features the largest pool on Walt Disney World Resort property, as well as Disney Skyliner access to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Even if you won't be visiting those parks during your stay, I'm sure you'll enjoy taking flight on the Skyliner Gondolas for a birds-eye view of the surrounding resorts.

While you are visiting, I highly encourage you to plan for a day in Magic Kingdom Park. Cinderella Castle makes for the perfect photo backdrop and I'm sure your three little princesses will love visiting the attractions in Fantasyland and snapping a few photos with familiar friends at Princess Fairytale Hall. You might also consider appointments at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for an extra special royal transformation for each of your three beauties.

During your visit, the much-loved “Happily Ever After” fireworks will once again grace the skies over Cinderella Castle. This is my all-time favorite nighttime spectacular and I'd urge you to try and catch a glimpse of the beautiful show during your trip. The accompanying music is both uplifting and memorable, and the spectacular castle projections may even bring a tear to your eye. Don't say I didn't warn you!

If you are looking for more options outside the parks I'd also recommend a Character Breakfast at Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera. Not only is the menu exceptional, but this would be the perfect reason to utilize Disney Skyliner transportation. While you dine, Mickey & Friends will stop by your table for photos and maybe even some hugs. You'll certainly want to snap a few photos of their adorable attire, too! Advanced Reservations are highly encouraged for this experience, and can be made up to 60 days prior to your arrival. These can be made online or through the My Disney Experience App.

Danielle, I hope this helps you get your planning underway. If I can be of further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to me again.

    Wishing you magic and memories!
    Amy
