    Looking to be in WDW June 2011. I was wondering can you get better deals booking online or calling the reservations line directly?

    Hi Matthew!

    With Walt Disney World, the public deals offered online and via the reservations phone line the same. Disney World discounts are announced and applied for the same time periods and discount rates regardless of which method you select to make your reservation.

    Both reservation systems do have their advantages though. I've found that booking online (or even browsing online) is a great way to select different resorts and ticket options to see price differences. I like being able to write down each price and compare the numbers at my leisure. BUT, the phone reservation system also offers flexibility as well. Reservationists there can help answer questions and suggest options for your trip. Be sure to let them know you are looking for a special rate - they often won't offer it unless you ask for it.

    One place where I do occasionally see differences between the online and phone systems is with resort availability. Once in a while, a resort available online is not available via phone or vice versa. This is pretty infrequent and my just be that room reservations are constantly changing! Its just worth noting in case your first choice isn't available. It may be worth looking online or calling 407-939-7675 to ask!
