We are looking at WDW in January. The prices now do not post any kind of discount or any special room rates due to it being in 2010. If I book now we will get charged a service charge if I change are reservations. Any suggestions? Tight budget :)

Hi Elizabeth,

I have booked reservations at the Walt Disney World Resorts in the past and then changed them to accomodate the reduction in price. I was not charged a service fee. However, I am not sure if this is still applicable or not.

I would book what I could afford now. If there is an adjustment, call Disney back and ask for the reduction in room price if the offer is available. In addition, when booking the reservation, I would confirm with the Disney agent if there will be a fee or not.

Last but not least, I would sign up for two great emails from AllEars.Net and Mousesavers.com. They will let you know as soon as special are out for the Walt Disney World Resort as well as provide you with other great tips.
