Hi Bryan,
Thanks for stopping by with your question. I'm happy to help!
One of the benefits of booking a room and ticket Vacation Package is being able to reserve your vacation with a minimal deposit. I love being able to choose my favorite resort, select my preferred number of tickets and then make payments until my final balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If you are hoping to take advantage of this you'd only be able to purchase tickets for the number of guests your room can accommodate on a particular reservation. You can certainly book your resort rooms and
theme park tickets as separate transactions, but I find the package modification and cancellation options to be a bit more lenient. Keep in mind that a room-only reservation will be charged for the first night at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due at check-in.
When I became an
Annual Passholder last year we began booking our resort rooms and tickets separately, since not everyone in our party needed the same type of theme park tickets. Similarly, if only one of your rooms wants to add a
dining plan to the reservation you'd need to ensure that the correct guests are assigned to each room. I'd recommend
reaching out to a Cast Member by phone for assistance with booking. They'll be able to make sure the appropriate guests are assigned to each room reservation and confirm that everyone has the correct ticket entitlements. I'd also recommend looking at the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts available to see if anything works for your travel dates.
Bryan, if I've misunderstood your question or you need further clarification please come back and let us know. We're always here to help sprinkle a bit of pixie dust on your planning process.
Magic and memories,
Amy
