    looking to visit in September when will the discounts come out for free dining? also we have stayed at disney at the port Orleans riverside. is there another resort in the same price range. cant wait to plan

    How much fun is it that you are planning your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World in September! 

    September is my favorite time of year to visit!  You will find that the parks are not crowded, the weather is nice and mild, and as you noted, this is typically when free dining is offered.

    Last year the Disney Free Dining Promotion was released in April. However, you will want to keep in mind that deals can change both with the time of year they are offered and if they are offered at all. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to see when new promotions are offered.


    Port Orleans Riverside is a great resort! They have wonderful Royal Guest Rooms that are fully decked out with all things princesses. There are also so many recreation options at this resort, including surrey bike rentals, campfires, fishing, playgrounds and an arcade.

    I love Coronado Springs Resort and this resort is in the same price range. It's the only Disney moderate resort that has a fitness center and spa, La Vida Health Club. They also have great food, including Pepper Market and Maya Grill. 

    No matter where you stay, I know you will have a magical vacation!
