Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing your question to us! I love that you're planning so far ahead for your New Year's Disneyland Resort vacation. Holiday decorations at the Happiest Place on Earth are absolutely magical and, if you are able to catch them, I would highly recommend it!
The only official word we have from Disney at this point is that the
Holiday Season will begin on November 15, 2024 with no end date given yet. However, if history is any precedent, the Disneyland Resort has often extended their Holiday Season a bit into January of the following year. For instance, the 2023 Holiday Season went to January 7, 2024 and the Resort celebrated
2022 festivities until January 8, 2023. So there's definitely a chance that you'll be able to enjoy the Holiday events and parades! I would recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog closely for them to make an announcement regarding this Holiday Season.
If you are interested in a
Disneyland Resort Vacation Package or making a room only reservation at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, please be aware that these reservations have historically been released around late summer. With the reservation window for standard tickets being increased last year to 180 days, we might hear something a little earlier. But rest assured that there will be plenty of time for you to plan a super fun vacation next year!
