Hi Rick,
It's great to have you back at planDisney!
Disney MagicMobile Service is a convenient way to access the parks without the use of a MagicBand or MagicBand+. Though it was initially only available to Apple users, it later rolled out for Google Pay-enabled Android smartphones. As an Apple user, I don't have much experience with Android devices so I did a little digging to help answer your question.
I chatted with a Cast Member who let me know that you should be able to use MagicMobile with your Android device as long as it has Google Pay capabilities. I believe the newest Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 now offers this feature with the download of the Google Wallet App. Based on my research this new app will require a lock screen on your watch, so just keep that in mind.
My fellow panelist
Anne Marie shared some great tips for setting up MagicMobile on your Android device through the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. If you run into any issues and need additional assistance you can also
contact a Cast Member by phone.
Rick, I hope this helps get you tech ready for your May visit. While you're there be sure to check out the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival available through July 5th. This year's topiaries and food offerings are sure to impress! If you're looking for
more thrills you'll want to make time to enter the grid on
TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise at Magic Kingdom Park, too!
Stop back and see us again with more questions. We're always happy to help!
See you real soon,
Amy
