Michele,
I think that
'Ohana is a great deal of fun for dinner. The view of the Magic Kingdom is great, the dining is family style, so no buffet, and the entertainment is a nice blend between fun but not obtrusive.
Similar fun with what I consider to be better food can be found at the
Whispering Canyon Cafe. You are just a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom, and you get to explore the wonderful Wilderness Lodge.
If you want to go a bit more upscale, how about
Narcoossee's or
California Grill? The views are phenomenal at night, and their cuisine is top-notch.
Those are my four non-buffet favorites close to the Magic Kingdom. If you are looking for other locations, let me know by asking me directly from my bio page.
Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
