Hi! Looking into a trip to WDW Thanksgiving week 2014. Does Mickey's very Merry Christmas Party take place the week of Thanksgiving?

    Hi Michele,

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party requires a separate admission ticket that takes place on select night at Magic Kingdom. Guests enjoy a holiday evening filled with riding some of their favorite attractions, Christmas show celebrations, holiday dance parties, special Meet and Greets with characters dressed in their holiday best, and even the ever so popular parade Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade, where snow falls on Main Street U.S.A.  The party begins at 7p.m. and lasts until midnight. Typically, the special event begins on select nights at the beginning of November, dates for 2014 have yet to post, but it is safe to say Thanksgiving week will host a couple of nights. In the past tickets for this event go on sale around the beginning of May and in my opinion it is worth attending if you have the opportunity.

Enjoy planning your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation and let me know if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
