We are looking at traveling to DW end of Feb. 2013 or mid April 2013 for two weeks. Which time frame has the better weather? We are traveling from AK and I want to also make sure the outdoor pools are open to splash in.. :)

    Hi Kristin!

Congrats on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!

If you would like warm weather and the opportunity to enjoy the pools everyday, I suggest visiting in April. The average temperature in February is 74, which is warm enough to enjoy the pools, especially since the pools are heated, but the weather is really hit or miss. Some days are warm and visiting the pool is pleasant, but other days are cold and rainy.

I visited last February, and I personally found it too cold to go in the pool. I actually wore a jacket most of the trip, but I am often cold.

In April the average temperature is 83, which is much better for hanging out in the pool.

The pools at Walt Disney World are open year-round and they are heated, so no matter when you go, you can have a splashin' good time!

    Magically,
    Stacy
