We are looking at traveling to Disney in Jan 2010. My husband and I have 5 sons. In Jan. their ages will be 10, 8, 6, 3 3/4, and 8 months. We need suggestions for a place to accommodate all of us TOGETHER, not separate rooms.

Hi, Heather!  Because the baby is only eight months old, he doesn't count towards the room maximums, which may work in your favor!

The cabins at Fort Wilderness campground are quite comfortable!  They can accommodate up to six people (remember, the baby doesn't count!), and you'll have a full kitchen and dining table.  The sleeping arrangements include bunk beds, a double bed, and a pull down Murphy bed.  There is also a lot of fun things to do at the campground when you are not at the theme park, including wagon rides, a nightly campfire and movie, guided horseback riding, and pony rides.

My family has stayed in the All Star Family Suites at the All Star Music resort.  Again, these rooms accommodate up to six people, but the thing I like best about them is you get two full bathrooms.  This allows two showers to happen at the same time, which is great for getting the family out the door in the morning or into bed at night - not to mention having a spare bathroom for potty emergencies.  There is a separate master bedroom, and then the living room has a fold out double bed in the sofa, and a single bed in both the arm chair and the foot stool.  My two youngest daughters (now eight and four) actually slept together on the pull out bed in the arm chair.  You also have a small kitchenette, which helps keep the food budget down.

You could also check out any of the Disney Vacation Club resorts.  You don't have to be a DVC member to stay there, and you will find roomy and comfortable accommodations there in a two bedroom, which sleeps up to eight people with a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
