Hey there, Alicia, and welcome to planDisney!
How exciting to plan for an upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You are doing the right thing by asking the questions you need answered so that you can make the best decisions for your daughter.
When it comes to getting from Orlando International Airport to
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, you have some options as far as transportation. You can rent a car, utilize the services of one of the smartphone ride-share apps, or reserve Mears Connect.
“Florida law requires children age five and under to be secured properly in a crash-tested, federally approved child restraint device.” Because your daughter will be 5 when you arrive, I recommend bringing your booster seat only if you decide to rent a car or use a ride-share app. Car seats are not required if you choose to go with Mears and the Disney Transportation options (when you arrive). The choice is yours.
Some of my personal favorites when it comes to attractions for 5 and 6-year-olds would be the
Wilderness Express Train at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park,
Dumbo the Flying Elephant at Magic Kingdom Park, and of course, be sure that your daughter participates in a
character experience and more!
Please let us know if you require additional questions; we are happy to help.
Have a magical time!
