We are looking at taking a cruise on Fantasy end of November into first week of December or mid January. Wondering generally on weather, is it generally comfortable enough to enjoy all the water activities on boat in Jan?

Welcome aboard, Keri! Isn't it exciting to begin planning a cruise with Disney Cruise Line? I promise, though that even though the planning is a blast, you'll be enjoying your time onboard even more, making so many magical memories!

My family has sailed many times with Disney Cruise Line, on all four ships, and in all different months, including November and January. Honestly, winter has become our favorite time to sail, as we get to escape the cold weather back home and head south for the warm waters of the Bahamas and Caribbean! Since highs in November, December, and January can range from the low 70's to the upper 80's, it will still feel very summer-like when you set sail. There have been a few sea days that we've experienced in the winter when a sweatshirt was necessary out on deck for me, but it didn't stop my kids from swimming the day away on the ship! Did you know that Disney Cruise Line heats the pools once the water temperature drops below 75 degrees? This makes the pools fun and refreshing no matter what it's like outside.

I enjoy the cooler days on deck when I can curl up under a blanket (these are available on deck on cool days too!) and read a good book. There's nothing like that! When else can you relax overlooking the ocean while your kids are well cared for and playing their hearts out in the Oceaneer Lab and Club, and you get to have quiet time on the deck chairs at Quiet Cove Pool with a specialty coffee from Cove Cafe. It's pure heaven, I tell you!

Your time in the ports of call should be warm and gorgeous that time of year! Ours always has been!

But, know that on days when weather isn't favorable, there is always plenty to do inside the ship. Each day you'll receive a Personal Navigator chock full of activities and events for the day and night. You will not be bored!

I hope that helps as you begin planning, Keri! Stop back if you have any other questions before you set sail! I'm happy to help!
