Hi, Kimberly! There are many fantastic restaurants across Walt Disney World Resort that can easily accommodate large gatherings of family and friends. With larger groups, I usually recommend some favorite buffets, as it is much easier to satisfy everyone's cravings.
With younger kids in tow, you may want to look at character buffet experiences, as nothing makes parents and grandparents happier than watching their little ones interact with favorite Disney friends. Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of our favorites. There is a wide variety of foods offered and the stepsisters are hilarious entertainment for the whole family. The Disney Jr. Play 'N Dine breakfast and lunch at Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios is also a great character buffet choice. Classic American fare is served with a side of yo-ho giggles as you dance with friends such as Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First.
If you are looking for more worldly tastes, head to Biergarten in Epcot's Germany Pavilion. Guests are seated here at long tables, so you could all easily be seated together. Not only would you enjoy delicious sausages and pretzel rolls, but you would be entertained by the festive Oktoberfest Musikanten band. There is a sectioned off area for the kids to dance in front of the band, giving the adults a chance to enjoy time together.
I hope these suggestions give you some delicious ideas for your trip. Let's see what some other Panelists have to say!
