We're looking at staying at a value resort but are worried about space. We have a toddler (4) & almost 2 year old. Is Port Century going to work with a pack n play or would bed rails on the bed suffice? Also, can we go to other resorts' pools?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shelley! I’m excited to know that you have a Holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in the works! I think you and your family are going to have an amazing visit.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort is a great place to stay. It’s now my family’s favorite value resort because of the recent renovations. You can now enjoy the comfort of two queen sized beds. One of them is a murphy bed that can be moved to give you more space to move around inside your room.

I have first hand experience staying there with my then two and six-year-old daughters. There was no need for a pack ‘n’ play because my girls shared a bed. I really liked the tub when it came to bath time, because there was also a detachable shower head/ shower hose that I used to bathe my Mouseketeers.

You will also find a mini-refrigerator in your room that is big enough to hold a half gallon of milk and some beverages. If you need any kind of food or drinks, you can always visit the Everything POP Shopping & Dining area. It offers a lot of variety.

While visiting other Disney Resort hotel pools during your stay is not allowed, there are three fun pools you and your crew can enjoy. The Hippy Dippy, Bowling and Computer pools each celebrate different decades.

Shelley, I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to plan your visit. Helping you with the details is our pleasure!
