I am looking at staying in a Tree House Villa. 4 Adults, one child age 5 and one age 2. Should we bother with a dining plan. As the grandma, I think I can make the breakfast and have lunch at the villa. One night out for dinner. What do you think?

    Hi Joyce,

You are absolutely correct. If you are going to eat your meals at your resort, then the dining plan does not make sense for you. You will definitely save money making your own meals. As a side note, you would not pay for your two year old on the dining plan nor does this little one need a ticket.

However, I just want you to know that traveling to and from the Treehouse Villas is not as easy as some of the other resorts. You will be on the bus and this property is a larger property which can take a while to get out of it alone.

If you are planning to go back to your room for lunch daily, I would look at a villa which is next to a park. Some wonderful options are Beach Club, Boardwalk or Bay Lake Towers. All of these allow you easy travel to two parks via the monorails or boats.

    Have a magical vacation!
