Hi Nikki!
Welcome to planDisney!
Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a great choice with little ones and is very popular with families. It has one of the best locations where you’ll be just steps away from the Magic Kingdom! You’ll also find
Monorail service to Epcot, and
character dining located next door at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
While it can feel a bit like a game of Tetris, you can find a few locations to set up the pack-n-play in your room. I’m unclear from your question if you are considering a
Deluxe Studio or a
1 or 2 Bedroom Villa. You mention the “kitchenette” which is what you’ll find in a Deluxe Studio Villa, and while a snug fit, I have been told that you can fit the pack-n-play into the galley style kitchenette. You may also be able to fit the pack-n-play near the entry where there is typically a door that connects a Deluxe Studio to the 1 Bedroom lock-off. Together these rooms create a 2 Bedroom Villa.
The laundry area can be found in the 1 and 2 Bedroom Villas, but not in Deluxe Studios. It isn’t a laundry room, but more like a laundry closet, with a stackable washer and dryer. While the pack-n-play won’t fit in there, with the doors closed, there should be enough space in that entry and laundry area to place the pack-n-play.
Traditionally, Guests will find a pack-n-play stored in the closet of all Deluxe Villas. With current Covid-19 precautions, however, they have typically been removed from the rooms, but you can get one simply by asking. There are plenty for all rooms, so no need to worry about them running out. You’ll also be provided with a sheet for the pack-n-play, so no need to bring one from home.
I hope this helps with your decision-making, Nikki. If you have any additional questions, please let me know, I am happy to help!
Happy Planning!
