Hey there, Joanne, and welcome back to planDisney.
I know how important it is to keep family close by when traveling to the "Place Where Dreams Come True" and Disney Cast Members do everything they can to ensure that your specific needs can be met. A few days ago my co-panelist, Kay, gave you some fabulous information about building your Disney vacation.
Requesting adjoining rooms (next door) or connecting rooms (connecting door inside the room) can be accomplished in a few ways.
- Have your Authorized Disney Travel Agent make the request
- Submit your request through the online request form email
- Call (407) 939-1936 and speak with a Cast Member who will link the request to your reservation. Be sure to have all Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation numbers available so the reservations can be linked if needed.
- If you do not receive what you want then go to the front desk and discuss it.
Again, Cast Members will do what they can to help make your Disney vacation an enchanted experience but no room request is guaranteed.
Regarding Disney Resorts Collection hotels on the Disney Skyliner, you have four options:
- Disney Art of Animation Resort
- Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney's Pop Century Resort
- Disney's Riviera Resort
Depending on your room you could have a long or short walk. In general, considering all the rooms at each hotel, in my opinion,
Disney's Riviera Resort has the shortest walk to the Disney Skyliner. The longest walks are the Little Mermaid rooms at Disney's Art of Animation and the 90's Building at Disney's Pop Century Resort.
Joanne, I hope this information helps you have a practically, perfect in every way Walt Disney World Resort vacation in January 2025. Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions or tips for your Disney vacation.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
