We are looking to split stay four days Walt Disney world four days Disney cruise (booked) then seven days Walt Disney world but when looking to book 8 days park hopper this expires four days before the end of our trip. Is there anything we can do.

Hi Neil, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! It sounds like you have an epic land and sea vacation planned for later this year. And breaking up those busy theme park days with a relaxing Disney cruise is practically perfect in every way!

Now let’s talk about your ticket options. Standard date-based theme park tickets purchased on the United States Disney World website can be used for admission over a certain number of days from the start date you choose. 8-day tickets are currently valid for 12 consecutive days and unfortunately can’t be extended. In this case, if you’d like to do 8 park visits over 13 or more days, you’ll have to purchase separate tickets (for example, two 4-day tickets).

However, guests in Australia are encouraged to purchase Disney World theme park tickets through a travel agent, so I’d double-check with your agent since guests outside the United States sometimes have access to special ticket deals that might work differently than the standard theme park tickets.

November is an extra magical time to visit Disney World because the theme parks and resort hotels are starting to put up their holiday decorations throughout the month! And the specially ticketed event, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party usually runs on select nights in November and December. If you go with the 8-day ticket, you could possibly purchase a party ticket to use after the 8-day ticket expires, depending on how the party schedule lines up with your visit. I absolutely love the entertainment that’s part of this special event, from Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade to Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show. It’s always a must-do for me during this time of year!

In early November, you’ll probably also catch the end of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. I love to try all the different dishes and drinks inspired by countries from around the world at the Global Marketplaces. And there’s also an Eat to the Beat Concert Series included in your EPCOT admission!

Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more information soon on both Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.

I hope you have the most magical adventure at Disney World and aboard Disney Cruise Line! If you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
