Hello, I am looking to spend one or two nights at Aulani 2026 to end a Hawaiian vacation. It would be the week of Thanksgiving. I was playing around with the dates and noticed after November 21st nothing is available. Am I too early?

Aloha Lisa, and thanks for visiting us at planDisney. I just got back from Aulani and it’s the practically perfect place to relax after a busy Hawaiian vacation! My family loves the combination of Hawaiian culture and Disney magic.

At Aulani, room reservations open 499 days in advance, so you should be able to book your stay in a few days. Thanksgiving week is a popular time at Aulani, so be sure to reserve activities and dining reservations as soon as your booking window opens!

Currently, you can make reservations for the kid’s club, Aunty’s Beach House, and activities through the Pau Hana Room 45 days in advance. This timeframe has shifted in the past, so I recommend checking the website as you get closer to your vacation to double-check the timing, especially since we’re more than a year out from your visit.

Family Fun Animation and the ‘Ohana Ho’okani Pila ‘ukulele lessons are always must-dos for my family. Learning to play Disney songs on the ‘ukulele is an unforgettable experience! If you aren’t able to snag a spot in advance, Hakuna Matata! Swing by the Pau Hana Room in the morning to see if there are any openings.

And then, 30 days ahead, you’ll be able to book dining reservations for Makahiki and ‘AMA’AMA. There’s no better way to start the day than eating breakfast at Makahiki with some of our favorite Disney pals! For a more fine-dining experience, I still dream of the multi-course dinner I had at ’AMA’AMA. The tables also have an incredible view of the water, so if you make a reservation here, choose a time about an hour before sunset!

If you’d rather stay flexible, I also love getting sushi and drinks at ‘Olelo Room, overlooking a beautiful koi pond. No reservations needed. There’s also usually live music at night for the best vibes!

Finally, for the ultimate relaxation, I have to tell you about my favorite spot at Aulani—the Laniwai Spa. The treatments include access to the Kula Wai Outdoor Hydrotherapy Garden. I could stay in this oasis of loungers, soaking pools, and rain showers all day! Treatments can be booked 180 days in advance.

I hope you have a magical stay at Aulani! And if you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.
