hi I was looking for something to get out the sun mid august and wondered if you could help me is the Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theatres suitable for a 9 and 12 year old do you need to book or turn up is like the cinemas and is food served every movie

    Hi Sandra,

When it's hot outside, it's always cool inside an air conditioned, darkened movie theatre.  I think catching the latest flick in the heat of the afternoon is a great idea.  The AMC Disney Springs 24 theatre is just like your theatre at home except more awesome! There are 24 theaters in the complex including the Fork & Screen Dine In Theatre where you must be at least 18 years of age.  For the other theaters, there is no age requirement, except for those based on the movie's rating.  You can pre-purchase your tickets at the AMC Theatre's website, or you may simply walk up to the box office.  You can select food items to enjoy during your movie at The Marketplace Concession Stand.  I'm a popcorn and Raisinets girl myself.  I can't imagine eating chicken tenders or pizza during the film, but you certainly can, if that's what you'd like.

I've looked at the release schedule of Disney movies for 2016 and you should be able to catch Finding Dory and Pete's Dragon when you're there next year.

I'm going to leave you with my favorite quote from a Disney movie: "You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." -- Winnie the Pooh (Pooh's Most Grand Adventure)
