Looking for something for my DS11 and DH to do while my DD9 gets her makeover at BBB in DD. I was thinking Ridemakerz would be something different. Do they take ADR's or is it based on walk-ins only? We are traveling in August 2011. Panel is awesome! TY

Hi, Tracy!  Boy, oh, boy! Ridemakerz is one of my 10 year-old-son's new favorites at Walt Disney World.  We went for the first time last October, and it was a huge hit!  Ridemakerz is a retail store atmosphere.  Reservations aren't available or needed.  Like the stores where you "stuff your own animal," this is a do-it-yourself (the Ridemakerz employees are there to help if you need it, of course) build-your-own-custom car shop.  Car or trucks can even be made remote-controlled!  There's an area at the back of the store to try out your car once it's finished. The whole family had a great time.

They are a national chain, and you and your son can visit their official site for practice selecting customizations, playing games, etc....  I'm also including the link to their Disney website: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/destinations/downtown-disney/shopping/ridemakerz/

    Happy driving!
