Welcome to planDisney, Sven!
I’m delighted you stopped by with your question for me!
You’re sure to love your stay at
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. With vibrant colors, fun activities, and an awesome slide at
Fuentes del Morro Pool, it’s hard not to feel instantly relaxed while you're there!
Sven, I often visit Walt Disney World Resort with my family of 8, so I most certainly understand your concern about getting two connecting rooms at your Disney Resort hotel. As you know, although asking for connecting rooms is a request and not guaranteed, rest assured, Cast Members do everything they can to accommodate Guests. I recommend you contact a friendly
Disney Expert and have them note on your reservation that connecting rooms are essential to you and your party. That way, when a Cast Member goes to assign your rooms, they’ll see the request. In my experience, I’ve never had any issues when I request connecting rooms, and I hope that’s the case for you, as well.
If you’re still worried, it doesn’t hurt to check out other Disney Resort hotels that offer rooms to accommodate your entire party. Perhaps you’d like the family suites at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. These sleep up to 6 Guests and offer an incredible experience. This Disney Resort hotel also offers
Disney Skyliner transportation to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, just like Disney’s Caribbean Beach does!
I know you’ll love staying at your resort, Sven. The magic doesn’t end when you leave the parks; instead, it follows you back to your enchanting Disney Resort hotel! From awesome activities to dining, I hope you take a moment to explore all your resort has to offer. And, of course, I recommend taking advantage of perks like
Early Theme Park Entry, where Guests of Disney Resort hotels can get a 30-minute head start on their Disney day! I love being able to enter the parks 30 minutes earlier than regular operating hours; I always try to experience one of the more popular attractions during this time.
While some kiddos are into experiencing all the attractions, some don’t or are unable to. Because of this, Walt Disney World Resort is lovely in offering the
Rider Switch service. With it, one adult can wait with the non-rider(s) while the rest of the party enjoys the attraction. When the other adult returns, they can supervise the non-riding Guests, and the waiting adult can board the attraction without having to wait in the regular line again!
Wishing you and your family an enchanting visit, Sven!
