Laura from MI Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am looking to return to WDW in April 2025. I would like to book a DVC villa as a non DVC member. Almost all of these accommodations look to be booked online already. Is this possible? Or are they released on a later date?

Hi there, Laura! Thank you so much for swinging by planDisney with your vacation planning question. Chatting about all things Disney Vacation Club is one of my favorite pastimes, and I'm here to help however I can--especially for a fellow Michigander!

Our family loves staying at DVC resorts when we travel to Walt Disney World Resort. We recently had a Spring Break getaway to The Most Magical Place on Earth (a nice change from Michigan winter!) and spent a couple of nights at our home resort, Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows. I really appreciate the extra touches the DVC accommodations offer--and at the Polynesian that includes two bathrooms in the Deluxe Studios, which are very much needed with two teenagers in the mix!

Laura, I'm not sure which resorts you are looking at for your April 2025 vacation, but this tends to be an extremely popular time for Disney travel since many schools are on Spring Break. I logged onto the Walt Disney World website myself and checked a variety of date ranges for Deluxe Villas without much luck. I spoke with several Cast Members who shared that this is accurate as the website is a live booking engine that shows up-to-the-minute availability for the villas. Guests' plans do change regularly, so I recommend checking back to see if something opens up.

I'm sorry this isn't the answer you were hoping for, but I will say that we often stay in non-DVC accommodations (usually related to a trip for one of our kids' activities) and there are so many great options at every price point. Our favorites are Disney's Art of Animation Resort (value; this resort also has really nice Family Suites), Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside (moderate), and Disney's Beach Club Resort (deluxe).

Thanks again for visiting planDisney, Laura! We're here to help with any other questions you might have to plan the perfect 2025 trip. If I can assist, please don't hesitate to reach out directly--in the meantime, I'll wish on the Evening Star that you find accommodations that are just right for your family!

    Stay Magical!
