I am looking for restaurants for thanksgiving dinner, either at disney springs or at one of the hotels, not in the parks. Any suggestions? Looking for a fun time with great food. I have been to disney vero for thanksgiving and loved it if this helps.

    Hi Thomas,

First, I give you thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about the best night of the year for those of us who love to eat!

For 2016, Walt Disney World Resort has an exciting array of delectable Thanksgiving dining experiences. In fact, 28-restaraunts are planning special meals to celebrate the occasion. No matter what type of fare you hope to enjoy for your feast, you are sure to find here.

If I were planning, I would bring the family to dine at Whispering Canyon Cafe, This family-style dining experience offers something for everyone in a casual atmosphere, perfect for my young Princesses. Plus, I happen to appreciate the Holiday decorations at Disney's Wilderness Lodge most out of all Walt Disney World Resort hotels!

Another option to consider would be The Wave... of American Flavors located in Disney's Contemporary Resort. This quiet gem tucked in cozily in the back corner of the first floor is easily missed, but it should be enjoyed! I recently experienced the very best meal I have ever eaten at Walt Disney World Resort here and haven't stopped talking about it since!

Please keep in mind that these are all limited capacity engagements. Book your Advance Dining Reservation as soon as possible to enjoy.

Come back and visit us, Thomas!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
