Hi Deborah! A reservation to dine with the princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table can be tough to snag, but persistence definitely pays.
Because
Cinderella's Royal Table has a cancellation fee, many guests will cancel their dining reservations a few days in advance once their plans firm up. I recommend you visit the Cinderella's Royal Table webpage every day and check for reservations for each day of your vacation. Instead of searching for a particular meal time, search for "Breakfast" or "Dinner." Consider searching for different party sizes. (Sometimes if I can't get a reservation for my whole family at Cinderella's Royal Table, I've been able to book a "girls only" breakfast for just my daughter and I. My husband and son were happy to go ride Space Mountain while my daughter and I dined with Cinderella and friends.)
Even after you arrive at Walt Disney World, try calling from your resort room each evening to see if a reservation has opened up in the next few days. Many Walt Disney World restaurants do have last-minute availability for walk-up guests, so if you can't get a reservation before your trip, definitely try stopping by the restaurant when you're in the Magic Kingdom.
I've always been able to get in my desired restaurant by persistently checking for availability, but if you're not able to score a reservation, consider dining with the princesses at a different restaurant, such as
Akershus or
dinner at 1900 Park Fare.
