Ahoy, Kelly!
Thank you for reaching out again with another great question about your
Alaskan adventure. One of my favorite parts of sailing on the longer cruises are enjoying variety shows by the guest entertainers. I'm always blown away by what they bring to the stage with their unique talents and creativity. Disney Cruise Line really does a tremendous job of finding some the best to bring aboard!
The adult-only, variety shows offered after the main shows in the
Walt Disney Theatre will be the same at 9:45 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Since these are held in venues not quite as large as the theatre, two shows are offered to accommodate more Guests. We like to arrive 15-20 minutes early to get a good spot and to order our drinks before the show starts. Often you'll find the cruise staff hosting a fun game show or dance party in the same venue that you may what to attend as well!
As for the afternoon, most of these shows are for the entire family. Sometimes the guest entertainer will offer an interactive workshop to teach Guests their skill. We've attended ones where we've attempted to juggle, be a ventriloquist and performed magic! They are always a lot of fun, and my kids love the opportunity to learn from an expert.
Kelly, we appreciate all the "WONDER"ful questions you've sent in about your upcoming cruise to the Last Frontier. We look forward to hearing from you again soon!
Have magical day!
Nancy
