i am looking to purchase the magic believe key holder passes and i was wondering when they would become available , also in terms of the payment plans, how would that work? Where will i get the option to purchase the passes in payments?

Hello there, Cami, and welcome to planDisney!

I'm thrilled that you're asking about the Believe Magic Key Pass because that's the type that I currently have and it's worked really well for me and my visiting frequency. The blockout dates don't really bother me and I've been loving the benefits and discounts that come with my Pass.

As you noted, sales of all types of Magic Keys have been halted, and I'm afraid that we don't have any inside knowledge on when they might resume. My best recommendation would be to follow the Disney Parks Blog and the official Magic Key Instagram account. These are going to be your best sources of knowledge for the latest upcoming news and updates. When Magic Key Passes do go up for sale again, you'll likely hear about it from them first if an official announcement is made.

As far as payment plans, if you are a California resident, you will be eligible to make monthly payments towards your Magic Key which will be financed over a 12 month period. When Magic Key Passes become available again, log onto your Disneyland account first (this is important because you need to be logged in so that your California address is already registered before putting the Magic Key in your Cart). Then select the type of Magic Key Pass that you would like, place it in your Cart, and upon Checkout, there will be a checkbox offering you the option to make monthly payments towards your Magic Key. Select that option and you should be set! If you do not see this option, close out and start a new browser window and log into your account again.

I hope you'll be able to join the ranks of Magic Key Holders soon, Cami! I've been so happy to be a Magic Key Holder and absolutely intend to renew when my window comes up. Did you know that the term Magic Key originated all the way back to when Disneyland sold actual ticket books for admission? The Magic Key was a type of ticket that allowed you to use it on any ride, from A through E!

Best of luck to you on obtaining a Magic Key of your own, Cami! I hope this was helpful and please do not hesitate to come on back and visit again if you need anything further! You're always welcome at planDisney! Until next time!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
