Hi, Brittany! A couple of years ago, I found myself in the same situation – I needed to utilize an Annual Passholder Special Offer to book a room while not currently holding an Annual Pass. I found that accomplishing this was as easy as flicking my magic wand with a "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!" I
called Walt Disney World Resort Reservations and informed the Cast Member that I would like to book a room with the Annual Passholder discount. The Cast Member was amazing and had me all set up within minutes. Once I arrived at my Resort, I was asked to show a current Annual Pass to complete check-in. Note that when you check in, the Annual Pass must be in the same name as the person whose name appears on the reservation, and the credit card used for the reservation deposit must belong to the Passholder. In my case, I had planned to purchase my Annual Pass once we visited our first theme park, so the Cast Member graciously allowed me to just return at my convenience before check-out and show my Annual Pass.
I hope this helps you in planning your upcoming vacation, Brittany. Be sure to take a look at what my good friend and fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist, Kathy, had to say about
purchasing and activating Annual Passes at a later date. Please stop by again if you have
an further questions for us. Have a magical day!
