Hi Linda! Welcome to planDisney!
It looks like you're headed to
Walt Disney World Resort very soon! You and your family must be getting so excited to hop on a monorail or ferryboat and take in the unforgettable sight of Cinderella Castle for the first time on this trip. Whether it's your first visit or your 50th, the magic of seeing the castle in the distance is enough to leave any Guest feeling like they've been sprinkled with pixie dust.
With your trip coming up in less than a month I bet you've been trying to secure an
Advance Dining Reservation with some Walt Disney World royalty for a few weeks now! I don't know about you but I'm VERY excited to get back to my favorite character dining experience,
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, on my next visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. The Norwegian Meatballs are my absolute favorite dish throughout the Resort and spending time with multiple Disney princesses during dinner is certainly the icing on top of the cake!
I know it can be frustrating when you're really hoping to secure a dining reservation at your favorite location and you just can't seem to find what you're looking for. While it's certainly nice to plan everything out in advance, my best planDisney tip is to be patient and keep checking. While you can certainly check your
My Disney Experience mobile app for dining reservations a few times a day, I think you'll have the very best luck just a day or two before you wish to dine with your beautiful princess pals. Many times, Guests change their plans just before their reservation date, canceling dining reservations that will open up for you! This is the way I've scored many "hard-to-get" dining reservations at popular locations such as Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera and Garden Grill Restaurant.
If you still can't seem to catch a reservation at
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, you can still get royal hugs, autographs, and waves in many locations! Stop by
Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom, catch the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade or wander World Showcase at EPCOT to find many of your favorite princesses in their native countries.
I hope all your dining wishes and dreams come true, Linda!
