Looking @ port Orleans RS in July. Will stay for 2weeks. Our daughter will be 7. Why should we stay here over AoA (little mermaid)? We really enjoy the poolside movies to unwind @ night. Does PORS do these? What else for her age? Food court differences?

Hi Joni! Port Orleans Riverside is my favourite moderate resort! The rooms are awesome and the setting is absolutely perfect on the Sassagoula River. The pools are perfect, and when my daughter was younger, she loved the poolside activities! They do have nighttime movies under the stars, a perfect end to a day at the parks. And we can't forget my favourite part, the boat ride to Downtown Disney, a super fun way to get there.

Art of Animation is Disney's newest resort, and the theming is incredible. It has the largest resort pool on property, which I'm sure your daughter will love. It also offers activities and movies. One thing I love about this resort is it's awesome food court. It's got many stations to choose from, including our faves, build your own salad and pasta stations. A standard room at Art of Animation is typically less expensive than Port Orleans, so that might factor in to your decision-making as well.

I hope this helps with your decision Joni. The best part of this dilemma is that it's a win-win, no matter what resort you choose you're going to have a magical vacation. Write back with any other questions!
