We are looking at both Port Orleans French and Coronado Springs. Can anyone offer advice or pros and cons?

    Hi Heidi!

Between your two resort choices, I have to recommend Port Orleans French Quarter. Its our family's favorite moderate resort. We really prefer the smaller size of this resort over the spread out feeling of Coronado Springs. In addition we really enjoy the romantic feel of the cobblestone streets!

A couple of other great bonuses for Port Orleans French Quarter are the boat transportation over to Downtown Disney (great for meals, shopping, or even a trip to DisneyQuest) and the ability to use the pool and amenities at Port Orleans Riverside (since they are sister resorts). Having this option might be extra fun - if you're planning a day or two of downtime at your resort.

Last but not least, Port Orleans French Quarter has also recently finished a refurbishment and now has queen beds! That's definitely a plus!

Don't forget to sample some of the beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter - YUM!

    Have a great trip!
