I am looking at the Plaza Inn Paint The Night Package. My daughter is 2. Being under three does she still get food? I assume she automatically gets a voucher? Thanks!

Hi Rebecca! Welcome to planDisney. Paint the Night paired with a meal at Plaza Inn makes for a perfect Disneyland evening: good food, glowing floats, and plenty of magic. Let’s get you ready for your dining experience!

I spoke with a kind Cast Member named Rae, who confirmed that since your daughter is under 2, she is considered Mickey’s guest. This means she won’t need her own reservation, and she’ll automatically receive a voucher for the Paint the Night viewing package. A quick Q-Tip about the viewing location: the reserved section is in Town Square Plaza, right across from the stairs leading up to the Disneyland Railroad Main Street Station. Even though you’ll have a reserved spot, I suggest arriving a little early since other Plaza Inn dining package guests will also be joining. Think of it as getting the best view without the rush.

If you’d like a different option for any reason, here’s another Q-Tip: head to the entrance of “it’s a small world.” Main Street tends to fill quickly, but this area often feels more relaxed while still offering a great view of the glowing floats. Arriving early here also sets you up perfectly for the evening fireworks, and once the final spark fades, stay right where you are to enjoy A Tapestry of Happiness. This new nighttime projection spectacular transforms the “it’s a small world” façade into a vibrant storybook of Disneyland history. It’s a beautiful bonus to close the night.

Since you’ll be visiting during Halloween Time, you’ll also find the park dressed in its seasonal best. Main Street is lined with smiling pumpkins and festive garlands, and Haunted Mansion Holiday brings Jack Skellington’s playful twist to the classic attraction. If you’re nearby at dusk, keep an eye out for Jack’s “lighting ceremony,” a little extra moment of Halloween magic that feels like a treat just for those who happen to be there.

Rebecca, I hope this helps you plan your evening at Disneyland. Between a meal at Plaza Inn, the sparkle of Paint the Night, and the festive touches of Halloween Time, you’re in for a night filled with memories to treasure. And remember, all of us at planDisney are always happy to help with more tips whenever you need them.

    Wishing you a magical evening,
    David
