I am looking at planning a trip to Disney in December. If I want to go to the Mickey Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom but don't want to go until that starts do I still pay for two separate admission tickets or just the price for the event?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kristie!

You will absolutely love Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park! It’s one of my favorite events at Walt Disney World Resort. My family and I love frolicking in the snow on Main Street, U.S.A., enjoying the tasty treats throughout the Park (the snowman pretzels and sno-cones being our favorites), watching the Once Upon a Christmastime parade (from our favorite spot in Frontierland), and dancing and singing along to the music during the Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show. This year we’re also looking forward to the all-new fireworks display, too!

With only a ticket to the Party, you may enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4 p.m. Although the Party doesn’t officially start until 7 p.m., those extra three hours are a great time to enjoy some of the attractions and/or take in an early dinner. To enter prior to 4 p.m., you will need to purchase a separate admission ticket for Magic Kingdom Park that day. Otherwise, your Party ticket will serve as your admission for the evening.

I hope you have a Magical time at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Kristie; please let us know if there are any additional questions we can answer for you as you plan.
