    We are looking at planning a trip in April 2010. It will be our first trip to Disney with our children- ages 4,6,and 8. We would like to reserve Character Dining, but was not clear if the reservation system was only for those in a resort package.

    Absolutely anyone is welcome to participate in character dining experiences at WDW. You don't need to be staying in a particular hotel or even in a WDW resort to dine with the characters. Reservations for all meals at Walt Disney World, including character dining, can be made up to 90 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE or by following the links found HERE.
