Hello Michael! Welcome to planDisney!
An upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort is always a good idea! Right now through the beginning of April of next year, Guests are able to enjoy all kinds of EARidescent sparkle as
Walt Disney World Resort celebrates 50 magical years! Now is the perfect time to make some plans, as there are new attractions opening,
tasty treats to try, and Cast Members who are ready to make your stay a most memorable one.
As a family of five, we also search for the perfect Resort Guest Room that will comfortably accommodate our toddler, school-age child, and almost-teenager! Lucky for you (and for us!) Walt
Disney World has so many different styles of Resort rooms, we never have trouble finding exactly what we're looking for. Whether you're on a budget or willing to splurge a little for luxury, I know we can find something that you'll find practically perfect in every way!
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside are two Moderate Resorts at Walt Disney World that have options to accommodate a fifth Guest. In these "5th Sleeper" rooms, you'll find two Queen-sized beds as well as a child-sized pull-down bed. Considering what you're looking for in your question I really think that you'll be very comfortable with these sleeping arrangements, especially because your son will have his own space to stretch out after some exhilarating days in the Theme Parks! If you're looking for the most budget-conscious way to please everyone this would be it! Both Resorts are beautifully manicured,
include fantastic pools with waterslides, and have multiple dining options. They even have exciting transportation options like the use of the
Disney Skyliner from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios, or
relaxing water transportation to and from
Disney Springs from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside!
Some Disney Deluxe Resorts also accommodate a party such as yours, with sleeping arrangements that include two Queen-sized beds and a day bed all in the same Guest room. You'll find rooms such as these at
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and
Disney's BoardWalk Inn as well as others.
Did you know that even though booking is not yet available online for 2023 you can call the Walt Disney World Resort and make your "room only" reservations already? By simply calling (407) 939-1936 you'll be able to speak with a Cast Member who can set some of your 2023 vacation plans in stone!
I hope you're able to use this information to plan a magical and memorable vacation for all!
