Looking to plan a kayak fishing / camping trip in February Is there a boat launch where I can launch my kayak to fish Disney waters while staying there?

Hi there, Felix! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and ask your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

When I say there is something for everyone at Walt Disney World Resort, I truly mean it! For those that are not the biggest fans of theme parks, there are so many other recreational activities for you to experience!

Unfortunately, the usage of personal water-crafts is not currently allowed at Walt Disney World Resort. However, I am happy to report that there are many options available to you if you still want to brave the waters and do some fishing during your trip! Guests are able to rent Motorized Boats as well as Kayaks from many marinas at Walt Disney World Resort. Motorized Boats range from tiny, two-seater vehicles all the way to large Pontoon boats big enough for up to 10 Guests.

If you're specifically interested in fishing, you can do so through Guided Fishing Excursions that include an experienced guide, all your needed fishing gear, and non-alcoholic beverages! Excursions can be booked for either two or four hours. If available, an additional hour may also be added in-person upon arrival at the marina. Reservations may be made by calling 407-WDW-BASS.

I hope this has given you a few ideas for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
