Ahoy there Ruth,
I say, AYE! to a swashbuckling
Pirate Adventure Cruise, at least that's what my scallywags have told me, because as you know pirates must be between the ages of 4 -12 for this adventure. Arrrr, my buccaneers quite enjoyed their adventure crossing the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake, while decked out in pirate gear, scouring the seas for buried treasure and learning about the pirate's code of conduct. But alas, during the time they were away at sea, my husband and I enjoyed a quiet and relaxing breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe before gathering our newly initiated pirates and continuing with our adventurous day at Walt Disney World.
There are four Pirate Adventures locations to choose from and each begins at 9:30 am or 11:30 am. My pirates participated in Disney's Pirate Adventure which departed from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You can also, choose from the following locations:
*Islands of the Caribbean Pirate Cruise @Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
*Albatross Treasure Cruise @Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort
*Bayou Pirate Adventure @Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside
If you are booking the Disney's Pirate Adventure at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and are looking to continue this fun filled day, I concur with the other Panelist's recommendation of Disney's Wilderness Lodge's cantankerous Whispering Canyon Cafe. You may continue this adventure by boarding a boat from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Magic Kingdom park. Once at Magic Kingdom park's boat launch transfer over to the Disney's Wilderness Lodge's boat. You will then be on your merry way to a knee-slapping, pony-stick riding, don't forget to ask for KETCHUP!, home-cooked belly filling lunch you will never forget.
Have a Magical Day,
Amy M*o*
