Looking for options to watch Superbowl as we will be on Disney property (all star movies) during sundays game (2/7/10)? Looked into ESPN club but they dont take reservations, want to make sure we have seating as we have 2 young children. Thanks

    Hi Christopher,

We are a huge sports family, and as a wife of a football maniac, we have tracked down just about every tv at Disney property when the games are on.

ESPN at the Boardwalk, or the Wide World of Sports are two of the best places to enjoy the big game on Disney property, however they don't take reservations and will fill up quite early. Some other locations you may want to consider are Rainforest Cafe or T-Rex at Downtown Disney. You will need to watch at the bar but you can enjoy a meal and if the kids become bored, there are plenty of places to go at the Marketplace for their enjoyment.

Another option would be to grab some food from the food court at your resort and enjoy the game in your room. Not as exciting as ESPN, but the kids could relax, nap and play and there would be no crowds.

If none of these work, our two favorite spots are the lounges at Yacht Club resort or Wilderness Lodge resort. The Yacht Club lounge is just off the lobby and is small but slightly hidden and very comfortable. They did not offer a full menu when we were there last but snack food and you could do carry out from the nearby Hurricane Hannah's. Our hidden gem though is the lounge at Wilderness Lounge. There is plenty of tables, it is very comfortable and they have delicious wings. The Roaring Forks counter service is around the corner as well as Whispering Canyon for a full table service menu. The lobby is a great place for the kids to hang out and there is an arcade just across the lobby, My boys love hanging out there.

Hope one of these works for you. Enjoy!
