Looking for options for 4th of July Fireworks. We will be at Copper Creek. Will there be dessert parties for fireworks viewing in the parks? Fireworks on boats?I heard that if you dine at Ohana they will give you a pass to watch fireworks on their beach.

    Hiya Amy!

I'm so glad you are celebrating the 4th of July at the Most Magical Place on EARth! Last yEAR we stayed in a Theme Park View room at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and loved it so much that we decided to make it a tradition. The view is uh-mazing - you are literally eye-level with the fireworks!

We don't have this yEAR's schedule yet, but based on last yEAR's celebrations, I have a few suggestions! Disney's Contemporary Resort offered Woody's Roundup Barbecue Buffet with exclusive fireworks viewing on the Porte Cochere of the hotel. It was very popular, so I'm hoping they repeat it this yEAR. You can also make dining reservations at Contemporary Grill for the evening of July 3rd or July 4th and watch the fireworks from their patio. If you are a Resort Hotel Guest or have dining reservations at the Resort, you are more than welcome to watch the fireworks spectacular from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village.

As for the dessert parties, I would suggest the Magic Kingdom After-Fireworks Dessert Party. You can choose from PlazaGarden standing room or seated terrace viewing. Disney's Hollywood Studios also has two dessert parties, one with Fantasmic! and one with Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. I've had the pleasure of enjoying the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot, and it was delicious and fun! Make sure to keep an EAR out on Disney Parks Blog, as they will be the first to announce any special holiday happenings!

Amy, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back. I wish you an EARly Happy 4th!
